How to Customize Windows Media Player Title Bar
In this post I am going to write simple trick through which you can customize your windows media player. It means that you can change the title bar of Windows Media Player to Windows Media Player provided by (yourname). That is if you will write the text (Jitendra), then it will appear like Windows Media Player provided by Jitendra. Isn’t this interesting and funny? So if you would like to do so then I am going to write simple step by step process for customizing Media player Title Bar below,
1. Click on start button
2. Click on run (Win+R)
3. Type “regedit” (without quotes) in the dialogue box
4. Now in the registry editor navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft
5. Now you need to create the Key [WindowsMediaPlayer].
Modify/Create the Value Name [TitleBar] according to the value data listed below.
Data Type: REG_SZ [String Value] // Value Name: TitleBar
Value Data: [Enter the text to be displayed In the title bar (desired title).]
6. Exit the Registry editor and reboot your computer.
Now on the next startup when you will open windows media player yow will be able to see the customized title name in the title bar of windows media player.
I hope you like this trick. If you will follow the exact step by step then it will work and it will not harm your PC
Note: – Don’t play with registry editor unnecessarily if you don’t know what they mean. Your PC may damage.
Have fun!!
