Have you ever think to display legal notice on start up on your computer. Yes you can display notice on your startup screen. You can write anything and display on startup before your computer is completely opened. This startup notice may be helpful to the computer which is used by many people like in college, institute, organization or any office. You can display something like ‘don’t delete any file from this computer, don’t copy personal documents, or anything you want. Ok so if you like to display notice on your startup screen then I am going to write here step by step simple process to display legal notice on your startup screen.
1. Go to start
2. Click on Run
3. Now type regedit and press enter key
4. Now double click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and press enter key
5. Again double click on SOFTWARE
6. Again double click on Microsoft
7. Now again double click on Windows
8. Double click on CurrentVersion
9. Again double click on policies
10. And now just single click on System. Now on the right side panel look for “legalnoticecaption”, and then double click on it and type the desired Legal notice Caption. Now again next below this look for ‘Legalnoticetext’ and enter the desired Legal notice Text. Legal notice can be upto a page.
11. Now apter you have done this do Restart your computer and upon the next startup you can see the notice text and caption which you have typed on your computer. This trick works on Windows XP, Vista and even in Windows7 and it will work without any problem to your personal computer. It will not harm your compter.
